Throughout the years, William Y. Christie has dedicated himself to good works, scholarly excellence, and community enrichment. He is a member of the Hampden County and Massachusetts Bar Associations. He also serves as governor (1987—) and lecturer in trial practice (1985—) for the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
William Y. Christie received the Common Good Award from Bowdoin College in 1994. In 1995, he became a Fellow in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honors society. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum Club.
One of William Y. Christie's notable cases is Dolores Sweeney v. Westvaco Company, 926 F.2d 29 (1st Cir. 1991).
